Correct, we’re marrying on Halloween!”

Following that answer re: our chosen wedding date comes an amusing face filled with curiosities - unsure of what to say and/or how to express their gratitude while deep down being filled with excitement.  Or maybe I have it all wrong and they really don’t give a rats arse, they just wanna know why we’re marrying on Halloween! It makes me wanna scream every time. 

It has been a road and half learning that not everyone gets our vision and/or understands why we’ve chosen what we’ve chosen for this special day of ours.  I don’t expect anyone to get it or understand it, however, I do expect our nearest and dearest to go along with it, support it, and be pee in their pants excited as all get out - for the most part they are.  The other half of them…Well, once you’re here and present and after it’s all over, you can then let me know what you think, ok =)

Today is T-36 and its a long part of the road.  Guests, I understand you have tweens and its your last year to celebrate sugar highs, I do not at all want to interfere with that.  Go, be merry, have a blast and while you’re at it catch a cavity, or two…PLS do not make us feel bad for the date we chose to marry.  We don’t feel bad that you can’t attend and we are not mad or sad.  We chose this date knowing some of you wouldn’t be able to make it - we were and are okay with that!
