1st Fitting Truth

Rennes, your presence captured my heart all over again. I didn’t want to take you off and I’m so sorry I had to. There was a mad rush and my timing SUCKED HARRY BALLS. 

Let me lay it out for you - - - My appt was for Sat 21 Aug 12pm - - while driving from Seattle to Portland I hit traffic, mad traffic, so I called the bridal salon (DD) at about 11:30am to let them know I’d be arriving closer to 12:30. They said it wasn't a problem at all - ok great!

I get there and all of a sudden I'm super rushed. DD only has two gown rooms.  Their 12:30 just arrived, DD1 is working with their 12pm in room 1.  DD2 grabs Rennes puts me in room 2, I slip into my bustier, Spanx, and heels - then DD2 comes in to help me get into Rennes...We go out to the mirror, I have zero time to admire Rennes and before I know it DD2 is ALL done with pinning.  It took 15-20 minutes NO EFFING JOKE - - I was PISSED!

Then one MAJOR thing that I was/am super pissed about as was/is DD (which is the only blog worthy mess since it can’t be changed) - - I was charged an additional 10% design fee b/c the dress was ordered against my hollow to hem measurements, plus the flair out was brought up 1.5 inches - - that dress needs so much work and was not made to my hollow to hem. I don't get any money back (mother effers) and now I have to pay an additional butt ass load for all the tailoring DD2 needs to do. Short of the long, I could have ordered a regular size 8, not paid the 10% design change fee, and still pay DD2 the same amount... Complete bull shit I tell you.... 

Oh and then - - - we had to take the dress off b/c I was running late and their next appt was now supper late - - WTF DD, do you know how much I am spending on this dress!

It doesn’t stop there but I will stop here- - I haven’t slept since the fitting…I return to DD this Saturday and hopefully with crossed fingers DD2 and I will be on the same vision track…
