Speed Week

I could’ve sworn today was Tuesday possibly Wednesday but definitely not Friday!!! This past week has been…odd.  Not bad, not good, odd. Since hitting T-100 days wedding planning is all over the place.  Pure Chaos. Not cool. 

This is the exact chaos I was afraid of! During the entire lull I kept thinking ‘what can I be doing - there is no way wedding planning is this slow!’  Everyone assured me what I was going through was normal and to weigh it out – they were telling me not to worry because once I hit T-100 things will start to happen. 

Holy eff me things started to happen alright – they are over happening and it is stressing me the hell out.  Let me give you an idea of what has gone on since Monday AND keep in mind Goose and I work full time (Mon-Fri 8-5pm) jobs.

• Received an email from SIL offering to make our “bathroom baskets..”  Saywhaaaa - My mouth dropped, my head fell to my desk and I asked her what she was talking about.  She gave me a brief 101 and I accepted her offer (one thing I have learned via the bride blogosphere, if family offers assistance and you know they’re as detailed/anal as you are, ACCEPT THEIR OFFER.) Thus our washrooms will have ‘bathroom baskets.’
• After successfully receiving a refund via PayPal I searched & found another seller via Etsy and purchased hairpieces for my bm’s. 
• I ordered 200 personalized cocktail napkins and 200 personalized towel napkins. I could've done this sooner but I waited for the sale – I got them 60% off, SCORE 1 for the bride!
• Rennes arrived – made her final payment (ouch) re-scheduled 1^st fitting, YAY
• Made an appt with the florist for this Sunday YAY
• Ordered gm’s ties via Macy’s (they’re Calvin Klein chillax we didn’t get cheapo onces) but then decided to go to bm store for backup in case we don’t like said Macy ties. 
• Finalized RSVP card with Butler.
• Figured out gm gifts.
• Confirmed rehearsal dinner invitation details with FIL’s and Butler.
• Rented lighting for venue’s ceiling.
• Trying to find FMIL a hostess gift for hosting my shower
• Looking/stressing about bachelorette outfits for day and night
• NOT SLEEPING due to above + mass amounts of brain chaos
• College BFF – son had minor ‘peepee’ surgery. I know he’ll be fine b/c bm NYC’s son had the same surgery when he was a baby but still no one wants their infant put under…Sad for College BFF and wishing baby W a speedy recovery. I know when he is 18 he’ll thank the doctors for perfecting his ‘peepee’

That’s a lot for one week, no!?!? I wonder what next week will bring!
