I was ready. It was time. I did it.  I walked in, sat down with confidence and said, “lets chop it off…”  Pretty comical seeing as how my hair isn’t all that long to begin with.   

 

I grew out my hair for the wedding and it was about an inch below my shoulders. You know that length where once it hits your shoulders no matter what you do to force it straight it automatically flips out at the bottoms!?! Ugh, that drove me nuts.  About two weeks before our wedding day I took that inch off. I am not a curls frilly type a gal and knew I wanted a straight with an added touch of volume do for our day; it’s exactly what I got.

Its been 36 days since our wedding day - I walked in with this hair...

And walked out with this hair…

It’s a little shorter that I would have liked. Actually, I wish it was a little more inverted. In the front I wish the length was to my chin then angled up towards the back, do you know what I mean?  Its fine, I didn’t give any direction so this is pretty darn good.  By NYE I know I’ll like it, maybe not love it but like it more.  It will grow on me!
