Now, say it allowed – Katooba =) Wasn’t that fun!?!?!?
Its meaning ‘it is written’ a Ketubah is a Hebrew marriage certificate dating back to ancient times and its one of the first documents giving woman legal and financial privileges.

Goose and I chose to have our text in both English & Hebrew. It basically highlights said grooms financial responsibilities to said bride as well as said grooms obligations to respect & provide for said brides needs. Its sweet-n-mushy too and there are words about love and commitment!
The Ketubah is signed by two witnesses who are not blood related family member of said bride and/or said groom. The Ketubah signing is a private ceremony involving said bride said groom and their witnesses – however – Goose and I have decided we want our parents to be part of this private ceremony also. You see - The Ketubah signing is a significant element of a Jewish ceremony because according to Jewish Law once it’s signed we’re married!!!!
Lets see the ‘looks’ of Ketubahs. 'Cause honestly the majority of whats out there is butt ass effing ugly. I am talkin' look for yourself…
I don’t want those framed in our house, bla(c)h - - Not to mention Goose is very particular with any/all interior décor (love’em for that.) We wanted something more ‘current’ a little more ‘modern’ - - So what do you think of our Ketubah?
Its comes to us in two pcs - the lithograph and then the Papercut border!
We wanted our Ketubah to be unique and rich with symbolism - The ‘Tree of Life’ branches and this Papercut couldn’t be more perfect and are exactly what we wanted!!!
I can’t wait to have this hanging in our home forever!!!!
Have a great weekend - Chat with ya next week =) xoxo
