With this ring….

Rings rings rings – it’s the first thing people wanna see once they hear you’re getting hitched.  I’ve gotta story to prove it - - - Recently I was visiting my high school roomy, Bear, who is currently living in downtown Los Angeles.  We were saying our “see ya laters” when I recognize a gal walking on the street… It was the mother of an old friend of mine. Our encounter went down like this…

Me: Mrs Hearts is that you?

Her: MAH is that you?

Me: oh my gosh its so wonderful to see you, how are you? WOW I cannot believe the only day I have ever explored downtown LA here we are running into each other…

Her: I know, I have heard so much about you, you’re engaged and getting marriedà GRABS HAND TO SEE RING

Me: Yes, yes I am that’s our plan…(engagement does mean marriage [for me and Goose] its not like ‘I’m in a bar with a baby…’)

It became increasingly awkward from there - - she didn’t tell me it was beautiful, HELLO have you not seen my double bling? Its freaking ah.ma.zing and I guarantee it’s nothing you have seen before…Point is, yes people go directly to your ring finger once they learn you’re engaged!

Whats gonna happen when I run into people I haven’t seen and I have more rings (yes I’m receiving 2 wedding bands which brings my ring count = 4, gotta problem with that!?) plus a new title plus a new last name?  Oy it hurts my head thinking about it…

What doesn’t hurt my head is talking all things RINGS & their meaning.  Together for eternity.  No stones. No blemishes. They are un broken. They have no end as our marriage will have no end. They are something of minimal value. No edges no corners.  It is for these listed reasons the Jewish tradition is to exchange wedding bands that are metal only.  Simple stunning and timeless ((((swooooon)))))
