The sun is out today - - When I see and feel the sun the inside of me becomes giddy. I want to be with friends. I want to be sippin’on drinks laughing at ridiculous stories from the past and/or creating new ones that will soon become the past. I want to be playing games, listening to music and just chillaxin’… All of this brings me to COCKTAILS (btw no real reason other than whats a little fun in the sun sans drinks, LOL…)
Having a Wedding Signature Cocktail is another trend that is quite popular and we are hopping on its bandwagon. I mean check these out…mmmmmm
I don't know if you're getting the point - if you're not, no worries thats what I'm here for. Allow me to explain...Every wedding has a color palette(to learn more about ours catch up here.) The majority of the time the Signature Cocktail is one of the colors within the color palette. Its concoction is proprietary information exclusively made for the guests of honor: said Bride & said Groom. There you have it - you all up to date now!?!?!?!?
Goose and I just started talking about our Signature drink - we are completely stumped... What if we did a HIS and a HERS - are two drinks too much? Guys, would you care carrying around a martini glass?
And then what if we do one drink with stirs such as these..So cute I can hardly stand it...For those of you who can't see it - they read "Sip and Repeat"
(all pictures from The Knot and/or Google Imaging)
Hook a sister up...SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS PEOPLE I KNOW YOU'RE READING THIS...
- one cocktail?
- HIS and HERS cocktails?
- stir sticks?
- should it be color specific?

Hi Marissa (it's Manders)...I don't think your signature cocktail needs to be color specific. It should maybe be name specific though? A name that represents you both as a couple. And going with two drinks is fine...one beer and one cocktail? You want it to appeal to both the men and women at the wedding. Definite YES to the stir sticks.
ReplyDeletei like the idea of a beer and a cocktail. makes it very his and hers
ReplyDeletedefinitely something that is a favorite of drink of yours and Andrews...that is unless you both have completely different favorites...in that case a his and a hers. I definitely think a color ties it all together...loove that!
