If I could eat all day I would. Having a metabolism the speed of a baby helps, LOL
My food consumption is not helping my physique!
Regardless of my food consumption I know on my special day I’ll be sucking in my gut, glory, and pride as I throw on enormously unattractive Spanx and a seamless bustier that will kindly assist my physique while on display in Rennes (that’s my dress, eeeek – will post about her in a bit…)
I feel like sharing how we’re (yes, I decided to make this post about the both of us not only me me me…) trying to eat healthy as we make our way to the Chuppah.
Goose and I are always making an effort to improve our eating ways. We cook dinners at home 4 nights a week + one night over the weekend. Goose takes leftovers for lunch everyday while I grab a Tabouleh salad or sandwich here in Pike Market. When we dine out we share a salad and an entrée which cuts our portion intake. Major set back - - Desert! Every meal has to have a desert PERIOD.
Below is last night’s example of one of our weekday cook at home meals. It’s super easy, cheap, flavorful, and best of all - - extremely satisfying to our palate- - Spinach, Cajun seasoned Tilapia, and Couscous...
We alternate greens – sometimes its asparagus or broccoli or brussel sprouts. Last night it was Spinach. I took a pan dropped in a teaspoon of yogurt margarine minced fresh garlic tossed in two bags of spinach and allowed it to wilt over medium heat. Then I added different seasonings. I usually add pine nuts however, they’re not Gooses favorite so I left them out =)
The finished meal - -- - mmmmmm - - -
There you have it - - What do you think, pretty yummy, right!?!?!? Whats your meal plan - - What helped you remain trim the days before you got to the Chuppah or alter?

Oh I love the Casbah Couscous! Have you tried the mushroom ('giant pasta pearls') kind? Sooo yummy!
