I never understood the whole back of the gown bustle hoopla. During my 1st fitting I was educated on the difference between the French Bustle and the American Bustle. Bc I didn’t really care a whole lot about my bustle or the back of my dress, that education went in one ear and out the other.
A bustle is a bustle and the back of a gown is just that, the back of a gown…My only request was to make certain Rennes was pinned up allowing me to shake shake shake what my mama gifted me!
I’ve got news for ya - While you might not care about what bustle you have or how the back of your gown looks, someone is taking note or capturing pictures…
