Two extraordinarily special people - Heavy on the heart wrapped tightly with tears!

I remember calling you on Dec 12, 2009 to share the good news. I remember that day as if it were yesterday.  The three of us could hardly get a word in as we sat on the phone exchanging tearful heaping breaths of joy.  

There is a large part of me that doesn’t want to thank you – NOT because I am not thankful for ALL that you did and continue to do for me (and Goose,) but, because it seems so final! It feels like the last step on this journey that has been an amazing ride and I don’t want it to end.  As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. 

Thank you so much for everything. Thank you for recognizing and allowing it to be our day.  And thank you for making it our day. Thank you for watching intently, standing by our side, and supporting all that we did to create the most magical day of our lives.  Thank you for being hosts, parents, guests, and knowing when it was time to play each role.  There is so much more.   There will never be enough “thank you’s” that will be able to appropriately deliver the amount of gratitude I have for the both of you. 

Thank you thank you thank you thank you…To new journeys whose rides will for sure top this one!!!

And Daddy - thank you for teaching me to find someone who loves me as much as you two love each other!
