This started out being easy – that should have been a sign =)
Brace yourself for a color called Black Plum – Like all first ‘truelove’ relationships I can tell you every detail about the emotional roller coaster we shared. It began with wanting multiple styles – check. My gals are all sizes and there was no way I was going to make them wear the same dress style. I mean a style that fits one gal beautifully might be a complete crap fit on another gal. Black Plum offered 4 styles and my gals all chose one – I was done - - Oh no I wasn’t!!! First lessoned learned – Do not choose bridesmaid dresses before choosing your wedding gown. Black Plum dresses were tea length = too informal. Sadly, Black Plum was a flop and we said bu-bye!
Brace yourself for a designer called Swoon - Like all second ‘truelove’ relationships, I didn’t learn from my first and thus fell harder and faster. Swoon offered 14 different styles and if my ladies could choose one of 4 then they could definitely choose one of 16. To top things off the prices were near perfect and all dress styles were available in tea and floor lengths (tea for my Jr Bridesmaid.) For the second time I was done - - Oh no I wasn’t!!! Second lesson learned – Do not choose bridesmaid dresses until bridesmaid(s) have tried on styles. Sadly, Swoon was a flop and we said bu-bye!
And then we said Hellooooo….Brace yourself for a Slate colored dress by Twobirds – third times a charm! One dress – one size - two lengths - 16 different styles. Need I say more, nah!! Have a look for yourself…
NOW we are all done!
Gals, you're going to look smashing - x's and o's
